Nikos Pappas: 'It's a lie that the spending cut prohibits wage increases'

SYRIZA's parliamentary representative, Nikos Pappas, stated that the government is lying about the spending cut and the prohibition of wage and pension increases.

In an interview with the radio station Sto Kokkino, N. Pappas commented on the economic policy of the N.D. government, arguing that there is room to boost incomes, mainly through indirect taxes.

Mr. Pappas mentioned that the Mitsotakis government is collecting more money than promised, creating surpluses that are not returned to the economy.
