Mylonakis: I Never Informed Anyone About OPEKEPE Wiretaps

Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Giorgos Mylonakis, testified before the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for OPEKEPE, categorically denying that he informed ND MP, Christos Boukoros, about wiretaps.
Mr. Mylonakis called the claims about Mr. Boukoros' knowledge of wiretaps absurd and rejected the scenarios about a "secret memorandum" of the former president of OPEKEPE, Grigoris Varras.
He stated that the memorandum was taken into account, but ND chose to establish an Inquiry Committee and not a Preliminary Investigation, rejecting the accusations against former ministers Makis Voridis and Lefteris Avgenakis.
Mr. Mylonakis denounced personal attacks by Zoe Konstantopoulou and referred to the resignation of the president of OPEKEPE, Nikos Salatas, stressing that Kostas Tsiaras requested the resignation due to the public tension.
He also denied informing MPs Tasos Chatzivasileiou and Maximos Senetakis.
