Maria Papa: Transfer from Civil Defence Planned

The transfer of the Commander of Civil Defence, Maria Papa, to the Audit Service has been initiated for administrative reasons, according to competent sources.

As sources told CNA, the transfer had been planned and relates to the needs of both the Civil Defence and the Audit Service.

The process is subject to the approval of the Public Service Commission (PSC), which has the final say. If approved, another official of the Civil Defence will assume the duties of deputy.
