Macron to Cyprus: "We are with you"

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his support for Cyprus in a post on "X". The statement was made during his visit to the Andreas Papandreou airbase, where he met with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Mr. Macron was responding to a post by President Christodoulides, thanking him for France's continued support. He also visited Souda, as the aircraft carrier De Gaulle is sailing off Crete and is expected in the Cyprus region.
