Macron: 'When Cyprus is attacked, Europe is attacked'

Emmanuel Macron stated that when Cyprus is attacked, Europe is also attacked, expressing his support for Cyprus.

Speaking after the trilateral meeting, he mentioned that the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle is already near the island to strengthen the country's defense operations. He also welcomed the contribution of Greece and other countries to the 'Aspida' operation, announcing the contribution of two French warships.

He affirmed that the French presence will continue in the Mediterranean, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Red Sea with 8 frigates and the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle.

The French President expressed his full support for the Cyprus issue, emphasizing its importance for France.
