Magda Fyssa: 'I'm taking Pavlos and leaving, we won'

An emotional Magda Fyssa stated after the sentences for Golden Dawn were upheld: 'I'm taking Pavlos and leaving, we won'.

With tears in her eyes, the mother of Pavlos Fyssas, who was murdered by members of Golden Dawn, expressed her satisfaction outside the Court of Appeal.

'We're done... After 11 years, we're done. Today I'm going home thinking that I won't have to be among those who murdered my child again,' she said.

Magda Fyssa held a sign that read: 'Pavlos, we did it! Golden Dawn is definitively a Nazi criminal organization'.

The appellate court upheld the original sentence of Giorgos Roupakias to life imprisonment and ten years for the murder of Pavlos Fyssas.
