Letymbiotis: Respect for Justice on Varoshiotou, Public Queries Understandable

Government Spokesman, Constantinos Letymbiotis, reiterated the government's respect for the independence of the Judiciary, commenting on the termination of Judge Dora Varoshiotou from the Thanasis Nicolaou case.

Speaking on Politis radio, Mr. Letymbiotis acknowledged that this development raises questions and public discussion, while recalling the government's support for the Nicolaou family in clarifying the case.

Mr. Letymbiotis stated that an official statement is expected from the Judiciary regarding the unsuitability of Ms. Varoshiotou, given that she had been selected for such a serious case.
