Cyprus Government Responds to Reshuffle Rumors

The government is focused on identifying gaps and errors in the reports on the fires in the Limassol province, aiming to prevent similar incidents in the future, stated Deputy Government Spokesman, Giannis Antoniou.

Speaking on state radio, Mr. Antoniou assured that announcements will be made soon and that measures will be taken to protect the country from extreme weather phenomena.

Regarding the rumors of a reshuffle, Giannis Antoniou reiterated that there is nothing to announce and that the reshuffle is the exclusive prerogative of the President of the Republic.
