The Republic of Cyprus is taking steps to denounce the 'abduction' of its five citizens by the pseudo-state to international bodies, Deputy Government Spokesman, Yannis Antoniou, stated on state radio.

Mr. Antoniou noted that the government is discreetly supporting the five Greek Cypriots and making every effort to assist them. At the same time, he urged citizens traveling to the occupied territories to be particularly cautious.

It is recalled that the five Greek Cypriot refugees were 'arrested' on July 19 and remain in 'detention'. Yesterday, they were brought before a 'military court', where it was decided to extend their detention for a period not exceeding 13 days.
