Government and Institutions: Anti-Institutional Games and Crisis

According to the article, two parallel universes are forming in the public sphere in Greece. One includes society, the opposition, and European institutions, where the problems of the economy, inequalities, the housing crisis, and high prices are recognized. The institutional delinquency of the Mitsotakis government and New Democracy is highlighted, as well as the European Public Prosecutor's Office's files.

The other universe is that of the government, which appears all-powerful, with polls showing a recovery and scandals attributed to external factors. The government is accused of instrumentalizing institutions to ensure impunity, as in the case of OPEKEPE and the non-establishment of an Examination Committee on national defense issues.

In addition, reference is made to the archiving of the wiretapping case by the judiciary, despite evidence of surveillance by the Maximos Mansion through EYP and Predator. The article concludes that the government is preventing institutions from functioning, nullifying critical functions and leading to a loss of trust.
