Cyprus is on heightened alert following interceptions of unmanned aerial vehicles over its airspace. Security measures have been increased in Larnaca, with heightened patrols at the port, marina, and airport. Paphos airport continues to operate normally.

Flights to and from Middle Eastern countries, including Israel, have been canceled, as well as some flights from European countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and Austria.

The Greek Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, visited Cyprus and confirmed Greece's readiness to provide support. "Greece will provide whatever assistance it can to Cyprus, based on its capabilities," said Nikos Dendias.

The Cypriot authorities emphasize that they do not intend to engage in military operations and are maintaining increased security measures throughout the territory.
