Bill and Hillary Clinton are requesting that their testimony regarding their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein be made public. The couple has agreed to testify before a congressional committee but fear the process will turn into a politically motivated "sham trial."

Republicans had threatened a contempt vote if the Clintons did not appear to testify. Bill Clinton stated that a public hearing is the right way to proceed, while Hillary Clinton emphasized that they have already provided the committee with "everything they know."

Bill Clinton has admitted to traveling on Epstein's private plane but denies visiting his private island. Democrats argue that the investigation is an attack on the political opponents of Donald Trump, who was a friend of Epstein.
