Occupied Cyprus: "Presidential Elections" on 19/10/2025, 215,000+ Voters

The "president" of the "supreme court," Bertan Özerdağ, announced that the "presidential elections" in occupied Cyprus will be held on October 19, 2025.

According to Mr. Özerdağ, as of early May, the number of voters was 215,611. Pre-election restrictions will begin on August 24.

In the 2020 "presidential elections," the number of voters was 198,957 in the first round and 199,029 in the second. Mr. Özerdağ stated that there has been an increase of 16,582 voters compared to 2020, due to population growth and naturalizations.

The voter count is expected to be updated in late June.
