Allegations of 86 'appointments' to the 'public sector' in the occupied territories in 48 hours, according to Yeni Düzen, just before the start of the 'pre-election' bans.
According to allegations by a 'member of parliament' from the Republican Turkish Party (RTK), the tripartite 'coalition government' proceeded with at least 86 'appointments' to the broader 'public sector' in just 48 hours, Yeni Düzen reports.
The hirings reportedly took place shortly before the start of the 'pre-election' ban period.
According to a report in Yeni Düzen, the RTK 'MP', Devrim Barçın, stated that the 'government', which is facing financial difficulties, proceeded with mass appointments. Specifically, 45 people were appointed to the 'Prime Minister's Office', 20 to the 'Ministry of Tourism', 15 to the occupied port of Famagusta, and 6 to the 'Ministry of Transport'. An additional 20 'appointments' are also planned.
Mr. Barçın stated that 'those who violate the rights of workers will be held accountable'.
