K. Kombos Raises Deneia Challenges with Hashim Dian

Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos met with the new Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of UNFICYP, Hashim Dian.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the meeting was productive. Mr. Kombos reaffirmed the Republic of Cyprus' commitment to the UN framework for the Cyprus issue solution and expressed his support for UNFICYP.

According to RIK, the Minister raised with Mr. Dian the challenges posed by the occupying army in the Deneia area and the violations in the buffer zone.
