K. Ioannou: Commitment to a Viable Cyprus Solution

Minister of Interior, Konstantinos Ioannou, stated that the Government is working with commitment towards a viable and functional solution to the Cyprus issue, based on the principles of European and international law.

In his address at an event of the Athletic Music and Literary Association "Digenis Akritas Morphou," Mr. Ioannou emphasized that the Cyprus issue remains an open wound. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Interior is implementing support policies for refugees, with housing programs and upgrading procedures.

The Minister stressed the need to preserve the memory and identity of the occupied territories.
