Israel Secretly Moved Aircraft to Greece, Cyprus

In a highly classified operation, Israel discreetly transferred dozens of aircraft and crews from Ben Gurion Airport to airports in Greece and Cyprus as part of preparations for Operation 'Rising Lion,' according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv.
The operation was coordinated by Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev, Shmuel Zakai, and state authorities of the host countries. Athens and Nicosia were unaware of the exact reason but permitted the landings.
The transfer had a dual purpose: protection from a potential Iranian attack and the repatriation of Israelis.
The decision was based on predictions of potential Iranian attacks on aircraft or airports. Previously, the Houthis had struck Ben Gurion, causing injuries and damage.
The Israeli government ordered airlines El Al, Arkia, Israir, and Air Haifa to remove their fleet. Some aircraft were stationed in the USA, Cyprus, and Greece.
Most foreign companies suspended flights to Israel, with El Al remaining the only stable option.
