The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, commented on his dispute with Zoe Konstantopoulou, president of Plefsis Eleftherias, in an interview on Ant1.

Referring to the lawsuit filed against him by Ms. Konstantopoulou, Mr. Georgiadis stated: 'It is not my choice to go to court. She filed a lawsuit.' He argued that he felt the need to defend himself, emphasizing the personal dimension of the confrontation: 'You realize that I have children who see this. Can I explain to my child why someone calls me a vile worm?'

Mr. Georgiadis also referred to a phone call he received from a police officer in Exarcheia regarding Ms. Konstantopoulou's appearance when filing the lawsuit.

In addition, he responded to Zoe Konstantopoulou's allegations of procedural violations, saying: 'I applied to get the data, no big deal the leak,' and sarcastically commented on her demands for resignations.

'I want to be honest with you,' said Mr. Georgiadis, adding that 'there can be no de-escalation with this woman.'
