G. Loukaidis: Rapporteur at PACE for Freedom of Expression

Giorgos Loukaidis, President of the United European Left Group in PACE, has been unanimously appointed as rapporteur on the issue of strengthening freedom of expression.

The decision was made during a meeting of the Bureau of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg, chaired by Theodoros Roussopoulos. Nikos Tornaritis also participated in the meeting.

G. Loukaidis will be the rapporteur on the topic: “Strengthening freedom of expression: an imperative for the consolidation and development of democratic societies”.
