MEP Fidias Panayiotou, in an interview on the show 'First Word' with Antonis Sroiter, spoke about MrBeast's influence on his decision to get involved with YouTube and politics.

Fidias Panayiotou revealed that he initially wanted to become a firefighter, but at the age of 16 he was won over by the world of YouTube. He expressed his admiration for MrBeast, whom he described as the biggest YouTuber in America with approximately 500 million subscribers, and with whom he maintains friendly relations.

'I was watching him and crying in my room,' said Fidias Panayiotou, explaining that YouTube seemed like an ideal job. After the army, he traveled to America and started his own channel.

He also referred to his transition to politics, emphasizing that his involvement with social media gave him the opportunity to communicate directly with the world, which he considers important in his current position as an MEP.
