Erhiourman: "TCs will not compromise on their rights"

Tufan Erhiourman stated that Turkish Cypriots will never compromise on their rights to equality, sovereignty, and security.

Speaking at a ceremony for the events that took place in Agios Vasileios, Nicosia in 1964, Erhiourman noted that Turkish Cypriots will not accept minority status and are one of the two equal founding partners on the island.

The Turkish Cypriot leader described security as vital, adding that the Greek Cypriot side is entering into military agreements with various powerful countries.
