Erhürman Alleges Stone Attack in Occupied Territories

Turkish Cypriot leader Tufan Erhürman has alleged via social media that a group of individuals in the free areas threw stones and explosives into the occupied territories. The incident reportedly occurred at "Yiğitler Burcu," near the Green Line.

Erhürman called on the United Nations Peacekeeping Force and the Greek Cypriot leadership to "take responsibility." According to him, the incident took place in an area that is both a neutral zone and a transit route.

In his post, Erhürman stated that no Turkish Cypriot citizens were injured and expressed his strong condemnation of the perpetrators.

The allegation comes hours before Erhürman's scheduled meeting with President Christodoulides.
