Erhürman Calls Tatar to a Televised Debate

The leader of the Republican Turkish Party (RTK), Tufan Erhürman, has issued a new invitation to the Turkish Cypriot leader, Ersin Tatar, for a public televised debate. The invitation comes in response to recent statements made by Mr. Tatar.
According to a report in "Yeni Düzen", Mr. Erhürman described Mr. Tatar's tone as "extremely angry and aggressive" and reiterated his proposal for a televised discussion, emphasizing the importance of democratic dialogue.
Meanwhile, Mr. Erhürman, accompanied by his wife, visited the former Turkish Cypriot leader, Derviş Eroğlu, at his home. During the meeting, current developments were discussed. Mr. Erhürman has also met with former leaders Mehmet Ali Talat and Mustafa Akıncı.
