Erdogan: "We Vigorously Defended the Just Cause of Turkish Cypriots"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that Turkey has strongly defended the rights of Turkish Cypriots, while reviewing his visit to the USA.
In a speech following a cabinet meeting, Erdogan said that at the UN General Assembly he reiterated the request for recognition of the 'TRNC' (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus), based on the existence of two states and two peoples on the island.
Referring to Israel, he accused Benjamin Netanyahu of "plunging the region into chaos in order to remain in power." He also referred to meetings with leaders from various countries and the EU, as well as his meeting with Donald Trump to boost trade relations.
Erdogan criticized his political opponents, accusing them of irrationality due to the success of his visit.
