Erdogan: We Will Never Abandon the 'National Cause' of Cyprus

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that Ankara will never abandon the 'national cause of Cyprus'. The statement was made on the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the declaration of the pseudo-state.

In a post on X, Erdogan wrote: 'I sincerely congratulate the 42nd anniversary of the declaration of the trnc and send my greetings and warm wishes to our Turkish Cypriot brothers and sisters on this special day'.

He also added: 'We will never abandon our national cause of Cyprus and will continue to strengthen our solidarity with the Turkish Cypriot people in every field'.
