Turkish Vice President, Cevdet Yılmaz, visited the occupied territories for contacts and attended the “handover ceremony of police service vehicles Turkey-trnc” held at the “general directorate of police.”

Specifically, 29 vehicles were donated, as well as 19 types of technical equipment, including police uniforms and fingerprint recognition devices.

Yılmaz stated that a long-term support program is being implemented to increase the effectiveness of public administration in the trnc and strengthen its institutions. The support includes various sectors, such as land registry, migration and digital infrastructure.

Referring to migration management, he said that fingerprint recognition systems have been implemented with the migration management center established in Nicosia.

Yılmaz emphasized that Turkey provides support to prepare the institutions of the trnc for the future and that the trnc's struggle for development is a national goal for Turkey.

Turkey will continue to support the 'trnc' with faith and determination.
