ELAM Responds to Criticism Regarding Candidate with Conviction

ELAM has responded to a statement by Alma regarding an ELAM parliamentary candidate who has been convicted of a felony. In its statement, ELAM referred to the dismissal of Odysseas Michaelides from the position of Auditor General, arguing that he himself was convicted by a decision of the Supreme Court.
The statement mentions that the head of Alma was appointed through patronage and that a former associate revealed that he orchestrated attacks against journalists. ELAM calls on the head of Alma to answer whether he intends to cooperate with those he used to call corrupt.
