With 148 days remaining until the parliamentary elections, parties are in intensive preparations. January is expected to be decisive for the parties' momentum.

The President of DIKO, in an interview, expressed optimism about maintaining the party's regulatory role. He also referred to candidate 'transfers' from DIPA and EDEK, emphasizing that such moves are common in politics.

Regarding a possible collaboration with DISY after the elections, his statements were widely commented on, suggesting a potential 'divorce' with Nikos Christodoulides. The President of DIKO stated that the collaboration with President Christodoulides is not as desired, while expressing his desire to improve the functioning of the government.

While the other parliamentary parties of the center (EDEK, DIPA, Ecologists) face polling problems, new party formations seem to be gaining ground.
