EDEK to File Complaint Against ALMA and DIKO for Data Breach

Members of EDEK will file a complaint with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection regarding a personal data breach by ALMA and DIKO.

According to a party announcement, EDEK members are being “illegally harassed, in violation of all personal data protection laws, by the election teams of a candidate in Paphos from 'ALMA' and a candidate in Larnaca from DIKO.”

EDEK states that the harassment has been systematic and raises questions about how the candidates from the two parties obtained a registry of EDEK members.

The announcement concludes with a message to the candidates, emphasizing that EDEK members are not misled and that the candidates revealed their 'new morals' and 'true character'.
