EDEK: "No thought of expelling Apostolou"

EDEK's Political Bureau denies any thought of expelling MP Andreas Apostolou, who resigned from the party.

In a statement, EDEK emphasizes that "the issue was never raised, it was never discussed, and there was never any thought of expelling Mr. Apostolou."

It also expresses regret that Mr. Apostolou did not attend the meeting to explain his decision.

EDEK hopes that rumors about Mr. Apostolou's agreement with another party will be disproven.
