Alpha Poll: Division over Drousiotis Allegations, Distrust in Justice System

The allegations of Makarios Drousiotis are dividing citizens, while distrust is expressed towards the Cypriot judicial system. This is according to a poll by Rai Consultans, the results of which were presented on Alpha Cyprus's Central News Bulletin.

80% of respondents have a negative view of the judicial system, with 42% expressing complete distrust and 38% little trust. Only 18% express a positive opinion.

Regarding Drousiotis's allegations, 59% claim to be aware, 25% have heard something, and 16% are unaware. 46% consider the allegations to be true, 45% are reserved, and 9% reject them.

The method of publicizing the allegations via Social Media is divisive, with 56% agreeing and 44% disagreeing.
