DIKO: Presenter's Behavior Unacceptable at Anti-Occupation Event

Controversies arose in the Famagusta municipal council following the municipality's anti-occupation event. The DIKO Municipal Group criticized the presenter's behavior, deeming it unacceptable.

In a statement, they mentioned that the presenter attempted to exploit the event for party purposes, using divisive rhetoric that 'whitewashed' the Turkish invader. Furthermore, they denounced attempts to turn the event into a platform for derogatory references to state institutions and the government, which they believe contradicts the non-partisan nature of anti-occupation initiatives.
