Golden Dawn Trial: Prosecutor's Proposal on Mitigating Circumstances

The Golden Dawn trial continues before the Five-Member Court of Appeal, with the prosecutor's proposal regarding mitigating circumstances for the 42 convicted individuals. The prosecutor's proposal will determine the sentences to be imposed.
Thirteen of the convicted individuals have already secured mitigating circumstances from the Court of Appeal. Among them, Michail Arvanitis received mitigation for his previous lawful life, Nikos Michos for sincere repentance, and Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos and Stathis Boukouras for good behavior after the act.
Giorgos Roupakias, convicted of the murder of Pavlos Fyssas, requested recognition of three mitigating circumstances, seeking to reduce his life sentence.
