Diddy: Response to Potential Presidential Pardon from Trump
Share on:

Diddy has been convicted of transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution. The head of Diddy's legal team, Mark Anifilo, clarifies that they are not seeking a presidential pardon from Donald Trump.

In an interview with Variety, Anifilo categorically denied that seeking a presidential pardon is part of their legal strategy. Diddy was found guilty on two counts related to transporting individuals for prostitution, and his sentencing is scheduled for October 3rd.

Donald Trump commented on the possibility of granting a presidential pardon to Diddy, without taking a clear stance. Although he did not appear particularly positive, he did not categorically rule out such a possibility in an interview with Rob Finnerty.

Diddy has been detained since September 2024, and despite his lawyers' efforts to secure his release on $50 million bail, the request was denied.
