Protest Held at Presidential Palace Against British Bases

Dozens of citizens gathered outside the Presidential Palace on Saturday afternoon to protest the status of British Bases in Cyprus.
The protesters, consisting of 17 organizations and citizens, started from the PASYDY building and ended at the Presidential Palace, chanting slogans against the war in the Middle East and demanding the abolition of the Bases. With banners and placards, they expressed anti-war messages such as: "Bases out of Cyprus, Cyprus out of the war alliance. Bases of death out."
