D. Vartzopoulos: Prosecution for message regarding OPEKEPE

Former Deputy Minister of Health, Dimitris Vartzopoulos, responds to accusations of involvement in the OPEKEPE case. In a post, Mr. Vartzopoulos states that his intervention concerned a simple question to the president of OPEKEPE regarding a small livestock farmer from his region.
D. Vartzopoulos emphasizes that there was no incitement to illegality and that he acted within the scope of his duties, supporting a fair request from a citizen. He also expressed his belief that the truth will be restored soon.
In his post, D. Vartzopoulos characteristically states: "In a very short text message, I raised with the President of OPEKEPE the perfectly reasonable issue of a small livestock farmer from my region, noting the availability of any necessary documents that would help. At the end, I asked if this was possible, even putting - to emphasize - TWO question marks ('Is it possible??')."
D. Vartzopoulos emphasizes that he never asked or encouraged any violation of the law and that his message was simply a question, in accordance with his duties as a member of parliament.
