Avgenakis: Report on OPEKEPE Published

ND MP, Lefteris Avgenakis, commented on the release of the final report by the investigative committee on OPEKEPE. In his statement, he emphasized that transparency and accountability are an obligation and that unsubstantiated accusations have no place in democracy.

Mr. Avgenakis stated that the investigative committee worked for 5 months, with 50 sessions and dozens of witness testimonies, examining thousands of documents and data, including those related to his term in the Ministry of Rural Development.

"Political confrontation is legitimate, but criminalization and unsubstantiated accusations have no place in our democracy," Mr. Avgenakis noted.
