Anna Aristotelous: Learned About Dismissal from Media, Says Lawyer

The Public Service Commission (PSC) announced the termination of the acting appointment of Anna Aristotelous, former Director of the Central Prisons, from the position of Director-General at the Ministry of Defence, effective 25.06.2025.

According to the announcement, the PSC appointed Elikkos Elias, Director-General of the Ministry of Interior, to Ms. Aristotelous' position from 25.06.2025 to 02.07.2025, in addition to his duties.

Anna Aristotelous' lawyer, Christos Triantafyllides, requested official information about the decision, as his client was informed by the media. Mr. Triantafyllides requests the immediate notification of the decision so that Ms. Aristotelous can consider possible legal actions.
