Akıncı Supports Erhürman Ahead of 'Elections' – Tatar Reacts

Former T/C leader Mustafa Akıncı publicly expressed support for Tufan Erhürman ahead of the 'presidential elections' in the occupied territories, prompting a reaction from Ersin Tatar.

Akıncı referred to Turkey's interventions, particularly in 2020, and expressed disagreement with the support of KKE for Mr. Erhürman from the first round.

Mr. Akıncı stated: 'we must intervene and end the term of the person who wasted the 5 years of his term. Mr. Erhürman is the one who must ensure that we can truly call the coming era 'new'. I wish him every success'.

Mr. Tatar described Mr. Akıncı's posts as 'inappropriate' and criticized Mr. Akıncı, claiming that 'he is showing an attitude that has no place in the political culture to exonerate himself'.

Today, Tufan Erhürman had a meeting with the three 'MPs' who announced their support for him yesterday.
