Adonis Georgiadis: Reactions to Nikaia Hospital Visit

Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, addressed the incidents that occurred during his visit to the General State Hospital of Nikaia on February 18, 2026.

Mr. Georgiadis denounced attempts to obstruct his entry to the hospital by organized groups and announced that he will visit the hospital again.

He confirmed that a doctor who had been arrested was released on his orders, emphasizing that he does not wish to criminalize employees.

He also referred to the National Resistance and called for unity, while launching an attack on Zoe Konstantopoulou.

Kostas Tsoukalas from PASOK commented on the events, speaking of staged shows.
