High Temperatures: Orange Warning in Effect

The mercury remains high, with temperatures expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius today and tomorrow. The Department of Meteorology has issued an orange warning for today, while a drop in temperature is expected from Monday.

Today, the temperature will rise to 44 degrees inland, around 36 on the east, south and north coasts, and around 34 degrees on the west coast and higher mountains. Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear, with possible light fog or fog and low cloud in the early hours. The temperature will drop to 28 degrees inland, around 25 on the coasts and 24 degrees on the higher mountains.

Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, the weather will be mainly clear. The temperature on Sunday is not expected to change significantly, remaining significantly above the average climatological values, while on Monday and Tuesday a gradual drop is expected.
