Phaidonos Case: Key Supporting Testimony
The Municipality of Paphos entered a transitional administrative period from February 5, 2026, when Mayor Phaidonas Phaidonos was automatically suspended, according to Article 113(1) of the Municipalities Law.
The suspension came after the Ministry of Interior informed about a criminal investigation which, if convicted, carries a prison sentence of more than three years.
