Fire Under Control in Pegeia, Paphos

A fire that broke out in the afternoon in the 'Kamares' area of the Municipality of Pegeia, in the Paphos district, has been brought under control.
According to an announcement by the Department of Forests, the fire broke out at 17:45 and was brought under full control at 18:35, after burning an area of two decares covered with wild shrub vegetation.
The extinguishing operation involved 5 people from the Department of Forests with two fire trucks, as well as 4 people from the Fire Service with two fire trucks. The causes of the fire are under investigation.
