Fire Under Control in Larnaca District

A fire that broke out near the «Μούττη του Ζυού» state forest in Kalo Chorio, in the Larnaca district, has been brought under control by the Forest Department's firefighting forces.

The fire started in the Pampoulari area and was brought under control at 17:00, before it spread, burning piles of garbage and dry grass.

7 people from the Forest Department participated in the extinguishing operation with 3 fire trucks. The causes of the fire are under investigation.
