Ambulance Service Handled 70 Fire-Related Incidents

The Ambulance Service handled a total of 70 incidents during the fires, according to a statement to ΚΥΠΕ by the Head of the Service, Riana Constantinou.
Sixteen people were transferred to Limassol General Hospital for further treatment. Nine ambulances with 24-hour response were dispatched to the fire zone, based at the medical center set up in Erimi.
The Ambulance Service, in cooperation with the Civil Defense, also transported people who did not have medical problems, including bedridden individuals.
