Chania: Swimming ban at Koum-Kapi beach due to sewage

A swimming ban has been imposed at Koum-Kapi beach in Chania, following a sanitary inspection that detected a sewage leak. The decision, issued by the Deputy Regional Governor of Chania, Nikos Kalogeris, aims to protect public health.

The ban will remain in effect until sampling by the Directorate of Public Health and Social Care confirms the restoration of water quality.
