Rain and Dust: Weather Shift in Cyprus

A weak low pressure system is affecting Cyprus, with sporadic dust in the atmosphere until Sunday. Today, expect locally increased cloud cover and possible isolated showers, even thunderstorms, in the mountains during midday hours.
Winds will be mainly southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, with calm to slightly rough seas. The temperature will rise to 25 degrees Celsius inland, around 23 on the southern and eastern coasts, around 21 on the western and northern coasts, and 19 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, the weather will be mainly cloudy. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 12 degrees Celsius inland, 14 on the coasts, and 9 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Saturday, expect medium and high clouds with possible isolated showers. On Sunday and Monday, there will be locally increased cloud cover, with isolated showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains. The temperature will rise over the weekend and fluctuate close to the average climatological values, while no significant change is expected on Monday.
