Vafeadis: New Footbridge in Karkotis Enhances Safety

The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Alexis Vafeadis, inaugurated the footbridge over the Karkotis River in the Community of Kaliani. According to statements to CYPE, the project enhances the quality of life for residents by facilitating safe passage alongside the old bridge dating back to 45 AD.

Mr. Vafeadis stated that the Government is implementing an action plan for the needs of mountainous areas, prepared by the Commissioner of Mountainous Regions.
