Tsoulloftas: Focus on Identifying Licensed Buildings for Compensation
Share on:

The president of the Limassol District Self-Government Organization, Yiannis Tsoulloftas, stated that efforts are focused on identifying licensed buildings that were affected, so that the Ministry of Interior can pay compensation at 100% of their value.

Speaking on Protoino Dromologio, Mr. Tsoulloftas emphasized that priority is given to permanent residences, provided that they have a building permit. In the absence of a permit, 25% of the compensation will be given initially, while the remainder will be paid after the permit is issued.

Mr. Tsoulloftas mentioned that approximately 700 residences need to be examined, a process that takes time. About ten people are working to collect data, as many files are incomplete. Yesterday, files for 100 residences were examined, and the examination for another 100 is expected to be completed today.
