Three health centers have been inaugurated in the occupied territories in the last three weeks, specifically in Varosha, Lapithos, and Kythrea. These centers were renovated or erected with funding from Turkey, according to the Kipris postası website.

The "mayor" of Lapithos – Karavas, Firat Ataser, stated that in some areas, the services are not sufficient for the growing population. The first health center was inaugurated in Varosha on July 28, with financial support from the Turkish "development and economic cooperation office" (KIE). The "Minister of Health", Hakan Dinçyürek, stated that the center is equipped to serve the growing population.

The health center in Kythrea, which was inaugurated yesterday, was reconstructed due to seismic risk. The Turkish Cypriot leader, Ersin Tatar, stated that the pseudo-state is strengthening through investments and aims to provide higher quality health, education, and security services. He also referred to the Cyprus issue, stressing that there will be no compromises on "national sovereignty" and the concept of "zero soldiers" and "zero guarantees" will not be allowed.

The construction of a health center in occupied Tavros and a new "general hospital" in occupied Kyrenia are also planned.
